Sharmi had a special surprise planned during their first look before the Bengali ceremony. As Shyam anxiously waited in the cornfield, little did he know that Sharmi would be approaching him dressed as a lobster. This inside joke was a playful reference to the TV show Friends, where Phoebe mentions that lobsters mate for life and describes Rachel as Ross's "lobster."

The wedding reception décor was a reflection of Sharmi and Shyam's worldly adventures and diverse backgrounds. Every table number card showcased an image of a city that held significance to the couple, representing the countless destinations they had explored together. To further enhance the travel theme, the vendors donned flight attendant and pilot uniforms, adding a touch of whimsy to the festivities.

As the evening unfolded, guests were transported to different parts of the world through the delightful blend of cultures, laughter, and heartfelt moments shared by Sharmi and Shyam. It was a celebration that not only honored their love but also celebrated the rich tapestry of experiences that had shaped their lives.
