Baha'i Temple
Just a short drive from Chicago, near Evanston, IL, is the Bahá’í House of Worship, one of only seven temples in the world dedicated to the Baha’i faith, and the only one located in North America.
The Baha’i faith is open to all, as is the temple, and it is truly a sight worth seeing!
We visited the Baha’i temple on a beautiful, sunny day, after a stroll through the Northwestern University campus. The gardens of the temple were in full bloom and the fountains were gleaming in the sunlight. Stepping inside the main hall was an experience, with its intricate interior design and serene ambience. We highly recommend a stop to this magnificent landmark if you’re ever in the Chicago area!
Although photography is not allowed inside the main hall of the Baha’i temple, the grounds make for a wonderful setting for an engagement session or a photo shoot.
